Kiana Analytics is a location based analysis and real time/ onsite merchant service and social wifi service. To provide merchants with better ways to offer you their products and services, customs offers, customer support, and depending on the merchant, free wifi service to you it is necessary for you to permit disclosure of your location whenever you enter the merchant’s premises or provide select details to log into any offered social wifi service. We will store only your current location and log in details for the sake of providing you services. Your application may create logs of your locations that it locally aggregates and uploads to a secure cloud service. You may opt out of this system, in which case only your most recent location stored on our servers. You can remove your self from the social wifi by logging out or not accepting the terms upon initial log in.
Kiana Analytics may keep track of how you interact with links across our Services, including our email notifications, third-party services, and client applications, by redirecting clicks or through other means. We do this to help improve our Services, to provide more relevant advertising, and to be able to compile aggregate statistics from all users to help merchants provide better offers, services and products to you.
Our servers automatically record information ("Log Data") created by your visit to a Kiana Analytics supported location, and/or your use of the Services. Log Data may include information such as your MAC address, browser type, operating system, visited web pages, location, your mobile carrier, device and application IDs, search terms, and cookie information. We receive Log Data when you interact with our Services, for example, when you visit our supported merchants, sign into our Services, interact with our notifications, use supported third-party applications, or visit a third-party website that includes Kiana Analytics support. Kiana Analytics uses Log Data to provide our Services and to measure, customize, and improve them. Aggregate data (consolidated information about total visitor traffic) has no personal identification information and is used for service improvement - therefore is excluded.
Kiana Analytics uses a variety of third-party services to help provide our Services, such as hosting on third party cloud storage services such as AWS and Google Web Servics, and to help us understand the use of our Services, such as Google Analytics. These third-party service providers may collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, such as cookies or your MAC address. Third-party ad partners may share information with us, like a browser cookie ID or cryptographic hash of a common account identifier (such as an email address), to help us measure ad quality and tailor ads. For example, this allows us to help merchants to display ads about things you may have already shown interest in.
We may share or disclose your information at your direction, such as when you authorize a third-party web client or application to access your log in account, and with the merchant providing the original services or on site wifi coverage.
